"That's a stupid place to hide people!" stated Lee as he followed Katie into the back room of Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes. "It's too dirty and small."
Katie rolled her eyes. "Oh please, Lee, these people are looking for a place to hide, not a damn palace. That would be too suspicious, and we're trying for inconspicuous, remember? We don't want the the Dark Lord to automatically figure out where all these witches and wizards are hiding!"
Fred glanced up with a grin as the pair stopped in the middle of the room glaring at one another. "Trouble in paradise?" he teased.
"Screw you," muttered Lee moving to plop himself down atop a sofa. "It's hard work playing a married couple looking for a home together. Why couldn't you have asked Angie to play wife with me? She doesn't argue as much as Katie does."
Angelina snorted as she entered the room with a box in her hand. "That's because I wouldn't argue--I'd just knock you out in front of the salesman. Now get your lazy arse off that couch and help me sort through this list. I want to make sure I'm remembering the correct place everyone went."
Lee groaned but didn't protest as he got up off the couch and went over to where Angelina and her box were seated on the floor. Alicia shrugged and went to join them just as George entered the room.
"Aw man, don't make a mess," he said with a pout on his face. "I just cleaned this place up. You guys are making a mess!"
Fred chuckled. "Sure you did. What are you doing back here anyway? I thought you were selling stuff up front."
"I am, but they want to talk to you, so I have to come back and pretend I'm getting you. Now, if you'll excuse me, dear brother, I have to go be you to sell the latest edition of Patented Daydream Charms." George gave his twin a wink before disappearing up front once more.
"That's just bloody scary," murmured Katie with a slight shiver. "Don't people figure out it's him and not you?"
"Not yet."
Katie nodded and turned her attention back to the box in front of her when the back door suddenly swung open and Alicia entered...but not alone. Her arms were wrapped around a cloaked figure who seemed to be shaking uncontrollably. Fred jumped to his feet to aide his friend, helping the cloaked person down onto the sofa.
"What happened?" he demanded, his face going serious as he glanced up at Alicia.
"Death Eaters got to her family," replied Alicia softly. "The Order didn't get there in time."
Angelina shook her head as Lee swallowed back his fear. Things were getting worse in the world around them, worse than they could have ever expected.
"Is she going to be alright?" questioned Lee after a few moments.
Alicia shrugged as she lowered herself onto the couch beside the shivering person, reaching out to squeeze the figure's shoulders in a comforting manner. "It's okay, now. We'll find you somewhere that you can be safe. I promise."
"N-no," whispered the figure in a husky voice filled with emotion. "I want revenge for what they did to my family. I want to get them back where it hurts most." The cloak fell off the figure's head, sending the small group reeling as they caught sight of the fury on Cho Chang's face.
"They will pay for killing innocent people. I swear it."
